Dig that textured micarta they been using. For whatever reason in years past they always polish the micarta. Though I love the sleek dark appearance it offers that textured stuff is the $. They Did the same with Carbon Fiber for the longest but now seem to always go with a grippy peel ply which I love. Blah, here is mine. First with purple. Love it. Really hope Jo brings some purple into the scale rotation some day

Spyderco had an online factory 2nds sale Friday. Though I was working my
Woman was able to score me 2 $400 mystery boxes before they sold out in just a few minutes. Better get some gems

Thanks. When my daughter Ember was born that sweet man Emcee surprised me with it. Scales even resemble Embers, obviously its also called an Ember so its quite fitting. When shes of age she will get it.

Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't sure which model. One fella suggested the Game Warden 2, which looks about right.

The coating looks really cool in person. I've seen that combo on their web page and it looked okay, but in person looks knice.

I was looking at a big chopper made of it. I'm afraid that 3v and cruwear may have ruined me though.

Nice snag there Yoko! Had been eye F’n that one for a bit (as well as his others). Nice to see it up against something for comparison. It looked a bit bigger than it appears next to your DEK1. Sure is a beauty though, and I’m sure will treat you well.

Nice snag there Yoko! Had been eye F’n that one for a bit (as well as his others). Nice to see it up against something for comparison. It looked a bit bigger than it appears next to your DEK1. Sure is a beauty though, and I’m sure will treat you well.

That's an optical illusion. Yoko's dek makes everything look bigger.
