Just committed to a Hudson Bay Knife from @David Mary out of 15N20. Pretty excited about this one. Thought maybe some of you fixed blade lovers might like to jump on the wagon on this one. May even talk him into a Skinny Fat Bowie XL at the same time.

I got a lot of my adventurous knife buying out of my system a year or so ago ago so I am pretty selective these days. That said, I am fan of the "Hudson Bay" pattern more due to the history is represents versus what most modern interpretations bring to the table. David's design is attractive but I will likely wait and see how it is once it gets into your hands.

Has seen some use since then, increasing character :)
I was thinking about this knife this morning, and how it's kind of become a pass around knife. By my count, you're the 4th person to own this knife, (me included).
I hope that no one ever sells it for more or less than the $450 I sold it for. That way, it can continue moving from home to home while everyone breaks even

that said, I would be very happy to see you kick the crap out of it all on your own.

Pretty sure it will stop traveling, Lorien ;) except in my car.

One of ferider ferider morning "coffee" posts about 2 weeks ago made me immediately track down one of these Campolin Italian stilettos. It got lost by USPS until a missing package claim shook it loose and it finally arrived today. Really nice solid piece, with a bit of weight to it, and a green g10 handle. This also counts as first purchase of 2024. Thanks Roland!

I still have my motorcycle jacket like the guy on the right. (my daughter likes it)
I didn't roll up my pant legs or grease my hair, but you're not far off.
C'mon, Richard. I have my sources. Once a fed, always a fed. ☺️

Back in the late 50's I was in the (junior) Centurions. (The local gang in my old neighborhood. We had wrist bands, dog choker chain collars for our imaginary gang wars, hung around with the older guys who sniffed glue...and all this before we were 10. I remember it like it was yesterday.)
