Anything pictured would work well for a camp / combat style knife. Most of these could be had with a little patience through the forums. Most fall right around the price you listed above. I’ve used all of these.. some more than others, they perform. The fit and finish isn’t going to hold a candle to a CPK ( besides the TRC ).. these are all nearly indestructible tools for normal uses though.

Plenty of makers on here worth checking out.

The Carothers Utility Fighter is a bad ass knife though - hands down my favorite Carothers 👍

I've still been carrying and using this since I've recieved it!

Lorien Lorien Governator prototype!!!!

I love love love this knife!!!!!!

The oversized handles help me more than I ever expected with hand fatigue! (My hands have been giving me issues)

Time for a touch up sharpening (I've managed to put a few chips in it hitting steel stands) so I'll give it a little break

Lots of great makers here on BF....each of us have our favorites.....

I'd suggest visiting this thread (good options), the knife exchange, and the main Fixed blade posting in the General area.

Then, after you get an idea of what you might like? Start talking to a variety of Makers.... We each see, and do things differently, for our Own reasons....kinda funny how we're all different
