That thing looks wicked! Great work!Razor sharp, needle point. I think it's done unless I change my mind about some sort of wrap on the handle.

Have you chopped anything hard with it? Split wood or something?Fixed blade Friday, heading off to the Renaissance Faire this weekend so it seemed like a good time to dust off this gorgeous Angus Trim longsword

Depends which sword of course. Some are very capable. No, thats not what swords are for.
Sword🗡 & the RoseSaturday! Checking out my buddy Jason McPherson 's work, he has been a staple here at the Renaissance Faire forever

If it can't chop some wood, it probably can't chop an arm.....if it can't chop an arm, it's not a sword I want!Depends which sword of course. Some are very capable.
I mean. There are variables. Are swords only to go to renaissance fairs in the 21st century??
The K20 is not some heavy sword shaped object, it is a real and proper sword.
It is a weapon, I would not use it to process firewood.
That would be like plowing a field with a Ferrari instead of a Lamborghini.

Agreed..... and I've watched a K20 decimate wood tooFelt this was totally appropriate to repost here. 100% agree with Nate on this one. Sure, you can make a long sword that will stand up to chopping firewood, but it’ll be a tragic piece of shit as a sword, and the guy you’re facing with a real sword will likely cut you to ribbons with his.
A tiny 124 grain projectile can go through bone. Overall weight is not the determining metric in projectiles or swords. If it can't chop some wood, it probably can't chop an arm.....if it can't chop an arm, it's not a sword I want!
Makes one wonder about chopped liver.A tiny 124 grain projectile can go through bone. Overall weight is not the determining metric in projectiles or swords.
Just go for the joints. If it can't chop some wood, it probably can't chop an arm.....if it can't chop an arm, it's not a sword I want!
That is good adviceJust go for the joints.![]()
And I heard a rumor that some D3v Sawzall demolition blades are coming out - just in case ‘limbing’ needs a little more oomph. That is good advice
