Welcome to Bladeforums.

You just joined yesterday, and you have created 10 new threads, and are now suggesting ways to reduce spam on this website?

Read more;post less.
okay! I just want to help out the staff on this great site! I love knives and collecting them!

Well, I guess "best knife" has to be qualified a bit more. Best knife for what?

I'll give three answers, instead of complaining about the topic of the thread. (If you don't like the thread, don't click in, and then whine about it!)

  • Most useful: Victorinox 10" chef's knife; I use it almost every day
  • Most useful (outside the kitchen): Victorinox Explorer. A knife is just one tool of many that we find ourselves needing throughout the day. Why ignore the rest?
  • Best materials and execution on a EDC-type locking folder: Benchmade 550-1 Griptilian. It's not nearly as useful as the first two, but is better for harder cutting tasks and let's face it: just more fun to manipulate and appreciate. ;-)

Just the best knife in your opinion that you have bought. just what knife it is and why you feel it is the best you have bought.

Just cool down your marbles and stop posting. All your questions have already been answered a hundred times. Use the "Search" function and rejoice. Read, don't post.

This thread isn't a question just a place for people to talk about knives they like best and why.

Wait, what?

Seems you should take the advice given about reading more. Lots of content to be had without posting.

Best knife I have bought is based completely on recency bias.
