Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

please tell me more about that knife!?
Here's the back of the beast! Dirty, but it's a garden tool!
Assembled by a 75 years old retired cutler from various parts he ans his mates have saved from closing cutlers who would have sent all to the junkyard.
They have opened a living museum and I hope to pay them a visit asap. I was half way last year when my engine broke down!

Bunnies like beer with extra hops! :p  :D
:D:D

I've been supporting the local economy while on vacation by sampling some local brews. Keweenaw Brewing Company is in Houghton, MI in what used to be a big copper mining area. Their beers have names taken from old mining terms. This Olde Ore Dock Scottish Ale is OK, but I was hoping for something closer to Founders Dirty Bastard; sandwich and beans were excellent!

 Yes, it jumped out at me!
You're having a late lunch my friend! :)

Yes, indeed, I'm meeting my friends who were in Paris for pizza later, and beginning to wish I'd had a bigger lunch! :D Hopefully they have something nice for me. Thanks again for your help my friend, I'll keep you posted

I hope too. I'm curious. ;)

Here is what they brought me JP :) I am very pleased to add it to my (very) small collection of French knives, and am grateful for your help. My friends said that visiting the shop was a very pleasant experience. The only mark is unevenly cold-struck on the blade, I don't know if it means anything to you (maybe it just says 'Courty' over 'Paris')?

Thanks again :)

Nice catch! Jack, it is Courty, Paris. The knife is an Issard Violon, jigged bone (os cerfé-stag bone), carbon. This is her sister! :) Now we have a lot of knives we share (25, Ancient 2, lambsfoot, etc)
