Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Had a morning just like that a few years ago. Started with one stuck tractor. Then the morning turned into afternoon and there were three ever larger tractors in a row immobile. Just before dark a 40' diesel wrecker anchored to and setting on anchor plates cabled a smaller wrecker out subsequently freeing the remaining three tractors. A day older, a wee bit wiser, and much poorer. As I recollect that evening ended with a few brews.......... :(;):):D

After many attempts.... blowing up a come along, nearly burying my truck in the creak and blowing the stem off the tractor tire rim, we got it out. My neighbor has an excavator that picked the ole David Brown up and got it back on solid ground.

My neighbor earned himself a pack of that “tan water”, Coors light.

Navarro Vineyards sells some of their wine varietal grape juice unfermented, which makes for a fun drink for kids and adults who don’t drink wine. The Pinot Noir is pretty good lightly chilled and served straight up in a wine glass.

This Gewürztraminer is a bit sweet for my taste, though, so I mix it 50/50 with sparkling water for a refreshing spritzer, seen here with the Craftsman 9494 that I’ve been carrying today.

please tell me more about that knife!?
The name is Charolais or Charlois, depending you name her by the country or the town where she was produced and used. Both in Burgundy, this is a stout knife for cattlemen.
She has a split spring (I'll post a picture later). Quite large and no more produced theses days.
A perfect knife for the gardener.
