A stout Primble English jack with a double chocolate coffee oatmeal stout? Why not?

It was pretty tasty, Dwight. A deep and full flavor. To get a first impression, I drank the first one at cool room temperature (note the loose, foamy head in the glass). I'll try another tomorrow at slightly cooler temp. The label is a bit over the top, but the beer is very good. Then, again, I love porters and stouts. And English jacks.

Thank you, Jack. As I have mentioned previously, I am lucky to have a regular spot for convivial conversation and imbibing that allows an occasional conversation about knives. My Böker slimline trapper that I carried today was in my pocket when I saw the opportunity for this portrait of my belt-carried Buck 110.

Hope everyone's weekend is going well! Finally got the monkey off our back and got our first win for the high school team I coach. Today I'm watching college football with my brother inlaw today and enjoying this autumn weather. I'm drinking Supplication by Russian River Brewing Company. It's an ale aged in Pinot Noir barrels. One of my favorites. Carrying two of my favorites today as well. The #14 is getting some patina by cutting limes for his Corona!

I'm in a kind of seasonal rut with my beverage choices. Each day I'll have an Oktoberfest (although I think I have them from 3 different breweries currently) or a porter (almost always from Atwater Brewery for the past month) or a Founders Centennial IPA or a Killian's. Here's one with a Vic Recruit:

May I recommend Samuel Adams' Oktoberfest? Had a couple today; very satisfying.
Knife content: just received MY Ashley's Choice. Posted pics on Guardians thread.

The knife in the right foreground was left to me by the man holding the basketball on the right hand side of the picture, as co-captain of the Auburn University men's basketball team. Cheers to great memories.

Gorgeous knife. Love that bourbon bottle too. Cheers! [lifting my glass of Tito's vodka on the rocks]
