Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

I bought this out of a sense of nostalgia, it might not be much compared to the World Class beers being brewed in the US today, but it was certainly the first decent one I tasted, and after only ever having had things like Bud, and prior to that malt liquours like Breaker and Colt 45, it came as a pleasant surprise. Fantastic to see how far things have come in a few decades :) Hat's off to the innovative US brewers that having the world something exciting to drink, and plenty to think about

Great photo! Oh, that ivory!

Anchor Steam is one of my favorite US beers, along with Samuel Adams and Shiner Bock. Been drinking it almost 40 years now.

Chui Chui If that's your coalface, I'll be clocking on at the pit tomorrow:D:D:cool:

Great elegant drink to go with the same kind of knife:thumbsup: Is that a specially commissioned Ettrick?

Regards for Christmas and the coming year, Will
