That's my kind of Drinking, right thereOrange Fanta (glass bottle/real sugar) & Breyer's Vanilla Ice Cream!!!

Must be a rum snob. Bacardí is decent rum.Not really for drinking, though that will probably happen to it. I have some over-ripe bananas that Jacques Pepin suggests baking in lemon-rum sauce.

Somebody here had a sig line suggesting strongly that Bacardi isn't rum, but what do I know. At least this isn't spiced like most of it seems to be around here.
Thanks. I'm glad to hear it.Must be a rum snob. Bacardí is decent rum.
¡Salud!
- still at the coal face, but accompanied by Streaky Buffalo Ettrick and ice cold glass of NZ Sauv Blanc

donn - David thanks for the Crawl. I never get enough of your pub photos and narrative. Keep it up my friend!

donn After 10 Pints it's a good job you had a few pies, otherwise you'd be bladdered..
But, another cogent reason to carry a knife with you at all times![]()
I have friends arriving in a couple of hours, and we're starting off with Bellinis, though I'm using peach schnapps rather than peach juice to give them an extra kick![]()

My father drank rum and Coca-Cola too, and he used Bacardí (pronounced in Spanish, of course: accent on last syllable). I believe Bacardí had to flee Cuba when Castro took over. Made in Puerto Rico now, I think.Thanks. I'm glad to hear it.
I seem to recall the Andrews Sisters drank rum with Coca Cola. As did my uncle the Floridian. Funny I didn't look into rum when I was fascinated with all things Cuban.
That hot pint looks good. Drinking egg nog with Jim Beam, listening to Tony Bennett Christmas music. You wouldn't like to swap jobs per chance????
That looks amazing! But you must live somewhere ALOT warmer than where I live to drink that
I intend to thank you...
Errr....yeah.... Still got bladdered....
There's always an alcoholic alternative if you look hard enough....
Het Pint.

Cheers!
Perfect! I'm sat in front of the fire watching the annually televised "Carol's from King's", a carol service from the chapel of King's College in Cambridge.
Merry Christmas John.![]()
Might join ya!I'll have to put on my pirate shirt and get some cola. Maybe lime juice. In my research I've encountered many elaborate rum cocktails, with multiple liqueurs and tropical fruit juices, especially coconut (yech). But 1.5 oz dark rum in 12 oz dark beer sounds interesting.
So, I have a new hobby.

My dad drinks rum and coke. And that's about it when he is drinking liqour. I'm not a big rum guy. I do like me some tequila though! My father drank rum and Coca-Cola too, and he used Bacardí (pronounced in Spanish, of course: accent on last syllable). May I recommend Herradura? May have been the first tequila imported (legally) into the US. One of the best, Taylor. My dad drinks rum and coke. And that's about it when he is drinking liqour. I'm not a big rum guy. I do like me some tequila though!
Seconds on the Herradura! Excellent stuff! Though I have forbidden myself to drink even good tequila past one shot, sipped, anymore. Too many stories from my younger days start with, “so we were drinking tequila annnd...”View attachment 1042967
