Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Thanks, TheFactor. :) I like that smooth camel bone 14 of yours, but this jigged bone 14 is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous![emoji106]

Sounds like a good time, Barrett. Do you still have your Christmas tree up?? ;)

Thanks, Greg. :) That marinera is the best 10 euros I ever spent! :D
I know nothing about gin or tonic, but your lambsfoot looks fantastic! [emoji106]

Thanks for the Great Lakes info, Greg. Going on vacation in a couple of weeks to Michigan's Upper Peninsula just a couple of hours drive from where the Edmund Fitzgerald went down, so grabbing a 6-pack or 3 of that brew from Great Lakes Brewing would be a great idea!
I love the Case sowbelly, and have a chestnut jigged bone CV model, but my shield does NOT look like yours! Yours is very cool! I'd welcome any details about your knife that you're willing to provide.

Old photo, but I had this kind of beer with supper tonight, and I always carry a Vic Minichamp.

GT,
That Sowbelly is a Case Brothers model. Not sure what year they did them but it was some kind of limited run. I liked the shield and scales so I picked one up.

Haha, not any more. Our little garage flood did destroy the box it came in, and I've been unable to find something suitable to store it in this time of year, so for now it's stashed in a couple 55 gal. trash bags wrapped in tape. :D I figure it'll be easier to find a Christmas tree storage box/bag when we get closer to the holidays.

Not a fan of today's beer. Not terrible but not one I'd buy again. The Bullnose however is awesome sauce.

It got into the 40's at my cabin this weekend. An awesome nothing for coffee on the porch in the woods:

The patina on the the blade is almost entirely from prepping one batch (4 ball jars) of sangria.

Thanks for the update, Barrett; glad that your Arizona flood wasn't too devastating. By the way, the cap lifter on the Rough Rider stockman I won in your GAW earlier this year still works fine; thanks! Old photo from soon after the knife arrived, but I had a bottle of Killian's Red last night, and used the Rough Rider on the twist-off cap.

Called in the pub after a long day :)

Why on earth anyone ever thought these IPad cameras were any good, I have absolutely no idea

My constant companion these days - my 77 and pretty much a bottle of grapefruit juice :D .
