This one did not make a long journey to the table, about 15km. The glass comes from the local fire brigade, like everywhere except for largest towns, they are all volunteers and do a great job any time, any weather and deserve well our support!

Thanks, Shawn. Since I buy myself a Mounds bar every week as a reward when I go grocery shopping, that sounds pretty good to me! (When I was a kid, one of my favorite Christmas gifts was a package of Mounds bars, either 6 or 12, that would last me 12 or 24 weeks, eating 1 of 2 Mounds each week. )

A local staple for me today. Interestingly, this "6-hop" IPA has an uncomplicated profile, makes it rather drinkable without too much pondering involved. I have a number of green wrapped cigars in my humidor as well, I think I will give this one a try this evening.

Having a "new-to-me" rye this evening. Not as much spice as I've come to like in my ryes but still a very pleasant whiskey.
