Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Sitting in the garage, listening to the rain and Yacht Rock Radio, admiring my new Albers Fixed Blade, and having a nice summertime IPA. Nice end to a less than stellar week!

Nice photo, makes a good size reference for the Albers. Haven’t had that Sam Adams. I’m always concerned about the bitterness of the IPAs. “Beach Session” seems like it would be on the low side, what’s the IBU? Can’t quite make it out when I zoom in.

I honestly thought the fixed blades were bigger. I was pleasantly surprised. Not quite a pocket carry but definitely one I will carry and use.

the Sams is only 30 IBUs - very drinkable, no bitter beer face. They have a nice summer sampler out now. My wife likes the Summer Ale and I get the rest.🍻

I was pleasantly surprised to find one of these hiding in the back of the laundry room refrigerator earlier this week. It's a winter seasonal beer, usually available about November through January or February, but I enjoyed it thoroughly on a summer evening!
