  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

What an odd name for a Texas whiskey.... I was not aware that there was a distillery in Grapevine. I'm only about 30 miles or so from there.... might have to run over there at lunch some day soon....
I still need to run over there for a tour. From what I understand the name comes from the native name for what is now Bear Creek.

Been a spell since I’ve dipped into this thread. I’m enjoying one of my favorite stouts and a dram of Texas Single Malt.

I haven't had a PBR in quite some time.... I should probably re-visit it, for old times' sake.... reminds me of that good old patriotic C&W song.... "Red necks, White socks, and Blue Ribbon Beer".....by Johnny Russell. ................ google it... 🤠
I googled it, its a nice song TYFS.

I learned something new tonight. Don't drink fine whiskey when you have a cold.

All week long I've been looking forward to my last glass from a bottle of The Macallan 12 year. It's one of my favorites and I can't taste it because I have a cold. I didn't see that coming.

Nice stag Jon. I like Yeungling too, but of course I don’t get it very often. I remember when I was a kid we went on a vacation to Colorado and my dad brought back several cases of Coors because you couldn’t get it east of the Mississippi. Last time we were in Florida I brought back several cases of Yeungling, I guess the apple didn’t fall very far from the tree! 😄👍
(Good looking can also)

Yeungling might be in short supply where you are, but rest assured you have a better variety than what I have to choose from here
