Something satisfying about sipping a good brew, listening to a Jordan Peterson podcast and sharpening some knives in the basement.
I found this Craftsman knife from when I was kid at my dad's house. I remembered the knife, but didn't realize it's actually a Buck 110.

Top-drawer knife, Taylor, and I really like the logo at the top of the beer can!🤓:thumbsup: That logo is essentially the way I initial documents or sign hand written memos, etc. It's the version of "GT" that I prefer, and is used by Georgia Tech U, Glastron bows, and apparently Grand Teton Brewing (as opposed to the other popular version of "GT" with G and T right next to each other with tops of the letters aligned).

(But I doubt if I'd enjoy the beer very much. Not a huge IPA guy, and certainly not a juicy beer guy. o_O🤪)

That’s a nice surprise for sure Scott, but maybe we could discuss that box of Cubans you casually placed in the background over in the pipes and traditional knives thread. 😄👍

Good eye!! That Cohiba box is from my honeymoon in Canada about 20 years ago. Macanudos are about the best I get now. Man, those Cohibas are next level for sure.

Distilled 3 miles from the house, drove 6 hours to get it. At 129 it needs a couple of drops of water, but the subtle flavors meld well. Good amount of spice up front and a brown sugar finish. Oddly it smells of spiced rum with some hints of bourbon.

What an odd name for a Texas whiskey.... I was not aware that there was a distillery in Grapevine. I'm only about 30 miles or so from there.... might have to run over there at lunch some day soon....
