Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Nice looking knife. 😉👍 Not familiar with that particular Leinenkugel’s but I do like most of their beers. 😎👍
I wasn't familiar with this one, either - but it's quite good! A perfect chaser for the burrito I had last night. 😉
I found Leinie's Toasted Bock at the end of 2020 at my grocery store. When I posted it in this thread, my assessment was "good, but not great", so I probably concur with Hammer67 Hammer67 . 🤓 I pick up a 12-pack of Toasted Bock bottles or cans periodically, and I've usually drunk one or two bottles/cans each week since I first discovered them. (The label on my bottle from more than a year ago seems slightly different from the current label.)

I see that’s at least your second bottle, so I’ll take that as at least a mild endorsement. ;) And, it’s in very good company with those two.

I tried a non-alcoholic hop tea which was pretty good. What say you about this one? Should I give it a try?

Yea I’m enjoying it! Crispy and some hop flavors which is nice. It’s been fun to try these different hop waters. But this one is definitely the best. I think I have been through about 3-4, 4 packs!

I have not tried this Leinie... I do like their Oktoberfest, but my hands down favorite is their Summer Shandy..... which, by the way, went back on sale in the stores here about 2 weeks ago. They quit selling it in about August-September, but started selling it now.
Because, everyone knows, summer starts in February....

Probably much like stores selling swimming suits now.... you know, "seasonal" stuff....

edit: I expect Christmas music to start back up in Wally World any day now....

I like your container, definitely front porch worthy!

Cheers, GT!
Thanks, and same to you! 🤓
A couple nights ago I had a can of Shiner Toasted Amber Lager that was pretty good, and reminded me of the Leinenkugel's Toasted Bock. No photo yet, but I have a "variety 12-pack" of 3 kinds of beers from Shiner that I'd never seen before. In addition to the Toasted Amber Lager, there's something like Trail Mix and something like S'mores. Photo reports coming by next week, probably. ;)

Glad you got your favorite Leinie's!:thumbsup: I'm not personally a fan of the Summer Shandy, but I sure like the Oktoberfest. I usually first see the Oktoberfest when we're on vacation in early August, so I agree that it's hard to tell what the dates for the "seasonal" brews will be. I always look forward to Leinenkugel Vanilla Snowdrift Porter, but they didn't even sell that this year (except in "sampler packs" with beers I had little interest in). I've decided Leinie's Chocolate Dunkel is not a bad substitute for the porter.

I like your container, definitely front porch worthy!
Thanks, B Bubber . :) Are you familiar with the old Hank Williams song (about a year younger than I am) "Jambalaya"?
Jambalaya and a crawfish pie and a fillet gumbo
'Cause tonight, I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-o
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou

"Fill fruit jar" is about the only activity from that chorus that I do! 😁

Had one of these with supper tonight ( the photo is from earlier); definitely a strong coffee "finish" to the taste, but I haven't noticed that it keeps me awake. ;) I like it very much!

Todd bigfish64 bigfish64 i saw this beer and thought of you and the fishing gear in your pictures
What a great name for a beer Jon. That knife is pretty sweet as well. How was the beer?🍺😊
That a catchy can for sure Bruce, and there is nothing wrong with that knife either. Hail to the Hotdog! 🤣
Thanks, and same to you! 🤓
