Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

Luckily I live in Florida so there’s no travel costs, and they’re cheaper than the MLB ball parks

We’d go to the occasional Spring Training game when we lived in Arizona, and I do remember that the beer prices were not nearly as bad as the big MLB parks.

I like chocolate and I like beer, but I've never understood the idea of putting chocolate in the beer. I'd rather have my chocolate on the side 🍫
Mike, I'm usually with you on many of the ingredients added to beer these days.
But I don't mind, and often enjoy, porters and stouts that contain chocolate or vanilla or coffee.
Last night I had this "chocolate dunkel" with a Cuban pulled pork sandwich from the bakery just outside our back yard.

You've posted the chocolate Leinie before and I've been a little curious about it. I like Leinenkugel. When I lived up north, it was a treat because I was broke and drank a lot of Bosch. At that time, Bosch was no longer made in Lake Linden, but rather was owned and brewed by Leinenkugel. It was a lot cheaper than Leinies and still a pretty good beer.

Down here in MO. Leinies are only carried by a couple of stores near me, and they only carry a couple of varieties. Wal-Mart occasionally has the canoe kolsch which I think is excellent. Might give the chocolate a go if I see any.
