I. Am. Jealous! That is quite possibly my favorite beer ever. Nice 85 too, that’s the one out of the 3 I picked from the run
I remember you saying that a while back, and I remember thinking that I hadn’t tried that one. My wife and I both liked it and that doesn’t happen that often. 😄👍
Schlafly makes some great stuff!
They really do Barrett, lucky to live only an hour away from the Tap Room. 🍺😊

Never seen that one before, Talyor. I bet it'd go well in an Irish Mule, too.

What's the secondary on your lionsteel barlow? Looks like maybe a cap lifter? Or small clip?
Cap lifter, I haven’t carried it much because it’s pretty dang bulky.

Nah it’s not you it’s just a shiner. Wish they wouldn’t export their trash. It gives our great state a bad rep.

We have jokes here about how it gets it’s flavor. Mostly they revolve around dogs taking a swim. Or are they jokes???
I actually thought it tasted pretty good, it just didn't taste like what I was expecting from the words on the can. ;)
I used to see Shiner Bock in my local grocery store, and someone recommended I try it, since I like bocks, doppelbocks, etc. But by the time I remembered to look for it, the store no longer carried it. So this 12-pack of 3 "unusual" flavors (Trail Ale, S'mores, and Toasted Amber) is my first experience with Shiner, and I'd buy it again. Here's a pic of the Shiner S'more that I had with lunch yesterday. I could taste the chocolate, but not the marshmallow, but IMHO that's not all bad. 🤓 I don't like hoppy beers or fruity beers, so I thought this was a good beer.
