I'm visiting Michigan's Upper Peninsula this week and have been drinking a local beverage.


The Red Jacket is the brewery's Oktoberfest (but I think it's available year-round); the Widow Maker is a black ale. I consider both to be very tasty!

Good grief, mr, that is a LOT of fine bourbon there! I've had four of the six, but have never even seen the Baker's 13 or the SB Old Forester.

Stout and oysters are a christmas treat..or pretty much any part of the cooler weather to me...the beer didnt taste like oysters so not sure ...more of a gimmick I spose.

opened the wild turkey on saturday after a day of work, quite tasty. the russells is from their camp nelson rickhouse and should be quite good, im actually holding back as I will be attending the kentucky bourbon festival in September, so ill get to these at some point

Sorry, don't have a photo, but I just wanted to say that I tried Johnny Walker Blue Label at my son's friend's house (his dad and I get on like brothers ). I have never, ever, ever tasted something that delicious.

I drink maybe 6-12 drinks per year, just not a drinker, but this stuff makes me want to pickle my liver. Good God, it's the GEC of whiskey. I hope all of you get a chance to try it.

The bottle was stored for a few years before I recently cracked it so somehow the label has been knocked about. Fortunately doesn’t affect the taste of the dram or the knives!
