- hey, thank you, GT..!

Back in London now, not so good, but work and duty calls.

Yes, the pond is a term you use in USA, here in UK we call it a lake..! 😆 Sure, we have much bigger ponds and lakes, but nothing like you guys 👍

This was an evening shot........the folder and whisky are just out of picture 🥃

- much of that, I believe, is due to regardless how vast the sea is between us, the ties and bond of friendship and familiarity are much closer 🍻

- ha-haa..! 😄

Yes, true enough. It's one of the slightly unsure things about a forum..........unless you know the person, something meant one way can be interpreted the other - apologies, I always err on side o' caution.

This last weekend, we had a very small knife meet here in a wee countryside church hall. I got talking to some guys I have met on occasion previously, but this time engaged to have some great exchanges/conversation - suddenly you see other facets and depths to people you possibly thought were a certain type, and they surprise you - it's wonderful. Sure, I guess that's life...........but at knife meets am always a tad more cautious ;)

Still working away...........must stop soon. Today is an alcohol-free day.............tomorrow, aint 🤩

Wonderful evening shot of that "body of water"!;)
Your pond/lake comments made me curious about definitions of the terms, but some time online just left me with confusion and a slight headache. Distinctions between pond and lake seem quite subjective and arbitrary, although whatever definitions a particular individual uses, a lake is usually (but not always) bigger and/or deeper than a pond.

Paul and Mike, I find your exchange amusing and very entertaining!:cool:😁

A dram of the go to that’s always on hand this evening. Took a walk with the girls before dinner as it was a sunny 50ish (Fahrenheit); hoping this weather is finally starting to turn. I prefer cooler weather but even I’m ready for spring at this point.

Cheers my friends 🥃
