@donn I looked up a description of that ale and it sounds great. I wish more breweries in the US would make tasty low-ABV real ales. May I ask what the knife is?

Ninkasi Brewing Company puts out some great beers. Maiden the Shade is no exception.

Yup! It's Bulleit Rye, a favorite of mine for Old Fashioneds and other whiskey-based mixed drinks.

Apologies WhittlingAway I must of missed your reply. It's an Otter Messer Sodbuster (small size). I ordered it direct from Otter Messer in Germany a couple of years ago. Carbon steel; just a decent no-frills pocket knife. They ship to the US but I don't know what postage is like.

The beverage was essentially a Kentucky Mule, but made with ginger syrup and soda water instead of ginger beer.

Keg blew last night, Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, so back to All Day IPA until tomorrow when I should have a Founders Centennial IPA keg. About to fire up some Fogo for the Big Green Egg, hope everyone is having a nice day.
