Beware of Edgeweapons.com

I won my auction 3/3 and did FINALLY receive my knife yesterday(3/24). In their defense(sorta)a blizzard in Denver closed the eastern half of Colorado, airports and interstate, for a couple of days. But the sad fact still stands that it took three weeks to deliver the goods. The GOOD news is that they finally DID. I don't think I want to go through that kind of deal again, no matter how much money I saved(or think I did).:( Laters, Greg

I've read this complete thread concerning E.W.com.Let me relate my experience,it wasn't bad but I had his cell phone number and I was able to talk to Brandon directly.Perhaps that had some bearing on his response.I purchased an M/T that had a prduction of only 200 knives.I purchased it about $75.00 less than the current market value.I gave him a credit card over the phone ,I didn't know at that time he was charging me a 3 percent fee for using it or I might have paid by some other method.Having said that, it did take longer than usual from his location in New York for the package to arrive and shipping was a little high, but to Brandon's credit the knife was as described and is in its elevated position in my collection.I'm sorry to hear that there is so much trouble with this dealer because his prices on certain items are really competative. If anyone experiences any further problems I will try ,upon request,to provide his telephone number.Maybe that will expidite matters.

I wrote Edge about my two wins on Ebay and tried to confirm they would ship. He wrote me last nite and told me the knives were no longer available. I go to the Blade Auction SIte and there's my two knives up for auction.

Don't deal with these lying thieving SOB's. They aren't worth the aggravation.

Just out of curiousity, was there a minimum hidden reserve on those knives? If not then it sounds like Brandon didn't get the money he wanted for them before the auction closed. :barf:

Geez, and the saga goes on...and on...and on. I've got his Ph. # if it'll maybe help alleviate someone's frustration (but don't count on it!) Laters, Greg:p

Nope, no hidden reserve. I knew I got a good deal on the winning bid but figured if he wanted more than the winning price he would have set a minimum or a reserve.

Just an FYI...noticed that Edgeweapons has TWENTY-FIVE (25) UT-6's, representing virtually every model produced, listed on BA. Read the threads in this post before you commit. Laters, Greg
