I don’t want to start a campaign just yet, but anyone voting for the swayback is voting against the arc of history.

The swayback pattern was based on an old broken down mule that an old knife maker saw just before it went to the glue factory (the mule, not the cutler).

The single blade Barlow, in contrast, is a classic pattern based on Grecian ideals and Aristotle’s philosophy.

Don’t be fooled by weird shapes.

Well, everyone knows that anyone that carries a barlow is a racist.... look at the language used in Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn.... and, they also probably kick puppies around on the weekend.
Wharncliffe users are classy people, cause wharncliffe sounds like Heathcliff.... who everyone knows, is a really cool cat....

I bumped these pictures up, to keep them in sight!! (Thanks, again Barrett!)

That Viper is truly a handy, easily sharpened knife!! If we go this way, I am wishing and hoping for this one!! Stag would be nice also!!:D

I'm betting you like juggling running chainsaws, and razor-sharp machetes, hornetguy hornetguy !!

Too bad there wasn’t some real pics of the swing guard like those, might have changed some minds.

Maybe... But the concept drawings give a pretty clear picture of the suggested result. The Gunstock looks fantastic and the Swing Guard is... unusual.

I love the moc ups of the swing guard that I saw. Voted for that and the barlow.

not a huge fan of the clip point on the bolus - but the one on the sowbelly looks nice.
spearpoint Barlow looks pretty sexy, too and as we all should know, Barlow, Ky is a cultural mecca where all the good stuff from Cairo washes up...

If someone has already asked and I missed it, please forgive me for re-asking the same question.

knifeswapper knifeswapper , Will these all be single blades, or will two blades be an option on those that you list more than a single blade type/profile for?
A Barlow, for instance, with both clip point and a full size spear point (or sheepsfoot) "secondary" would be rather cool, "special" and befitting of a Forum Knife. :)

I am not going to ask them for a "new" setup by the end of the year. But a two blade would price us out of the range I want to hit anyway.

Excited 2020 forum knife a possibility, but still aways to go to hit 300 knives. If everyone voted twice, then interest level is at 197 people. With the Swayback wharncliffe an obvious runaway (6 votes) :D I’m ready to order two :)

I would guess that once orders are asked for, there will be enough to get to 300. Maybe an announcement in the General Knife Discussion forum would do wonders. And in the LionSteel forum. Many will buy two.

I've been eyeing these Italian traditionals with nice stainless steel on CK for a while, but never had the impetus to buy one. I'm looking forward to seeing how the knife progresses and turns out. Agree with everyone who states the 2020 knife is a ray of hope in uncertain times.
