I'll bet that if the barlow shown in the example of the previous page was in rams horn it would have got far more love than olive wood. The swayback however is presented in stag. A bit of subconscious marketing giving that Mike has already said he's rooting for the swayback?

just keep in mind, you can change scales on these. I’ve seen custom scales which are cool looking.

Too bad the Italians don't do Juniper like the French do, slab of that on the Swayback would be fragrant If it wins and gets made I'll be happy with ANY scales (except carbon fibre....) and if i don't like the scales on mine, then I'll get some different ones

I just watched Mike’s YouTube video on the swayback. He previously did a run with a gray oak. They looked awesome.

I’m excited for a wood option when we get into voting knife details.

I lean towards stag or ram's horn but wood is always classy and I think it would be more in line with our price point.

Voted barlow, mainly because it's not been well represented in past forum knives.

Although, that swayback!!!

Are you making a joke Glenn? There have been 2 Barlow forum knives and none of the other patterns listed have been forum knives, that I can recall.

Plus there's been no Wharncliffe single blade representation so far, plenty of Clips and Sheepfoot

I'm still holding out hope for acrylic scales this year. Over the years we have had a fair share of many covers, but acrylic isn't represented. I'm not a huge fan of acrylic, but think it fits the current germ reduction trend of 2020, and would be unique to CK regular line as I don't think acrylic has been used yet... plus will help keep cost down. Crossing my fingers for an acrylic swayback.

I almost started a thread campaigning for the sowbelly, out of all of the offerings that one gets me most excited. Just something about the lines of it and all.
Edit to reflect that I learned the sowbelly is a Viper and not Lionsteel, always learning

lionSteel is only one of the factories represented in the choice. Viper and Fox are the other. We already have the Sowbelly in stock.
