For anyone interested in bicycling, the Amgen Tour of California occurs in mid-May, with the stage 4 finish (all the way down PCH from the Monterey Bay area) in Morro Bay on May 15:

ps: the commercial wild salmon fishery just opened up yesterday, so we will be enjoying the best and freshest wild salmon in the world during the Tour...

ride a Canadian design, all-aluminum frame bike, I guess they call them hybrids? - with 700c tires, I find it really useful on roads or trails

it's a relatively inexpensive and unknown brand, but seems to have good quality
