Big Announcement ............Opinions?

Seems to me like this is the absolute BEST time to be hangin' round the Busse forum, with all these AWESOME new releases happening every week!!!!!!!

I'm always happy to look at, drool over, and decide if I want to buy one of ANY blade Jerry releases, and I don't care if other forum members don't like it. That isn't gonna stop me from buying one (or two, or three) !!!! :D ---

Thanks Bossman!!!!!!!!!!!

I edited my post, but since you ask, refer to George Carlin's 7 words, it covers it pretty well...
This rule has never changed, and it is a general BladeForums rule outside Whine & Cheese.
In addition, Jerry has always said that this specific forum is a "Family Friendly" forum. Keep in mind that ANYONE over 13 can have an account here, and that children can read over shoulders.
Along with other inappropriate language, there's been too many F bombs in here recently...

Thanks for keeping it real in here.
I also wish I could keep W&C and another forums titles from appearing in my feed. Not that I don't read, and laugh, and enjoy. But I have two kids who have eyes like Eagles! Swears, and other inappropriate language are not good for them.

If any one knows how to keep those titles from showing up when I'm browsing let me know!

OK, then. I apologize for my negative comments in the announcement thread, and will edit same.

I'd really really love to have one in INFI, but it is 100% not feasible. It's Busse, there's gonna be some ridiculous knives. I think they look like the swords the main character used in the original God of War game, which I played in younger days, which is cool. I MIGHT get one in SR-101, which I have used with no complaints and is a great steel, but I'm not sure. I have three different handle/coating combos in my cart right now.

Let's be honest here, most of us have more Busse knives than we can or will possibly use, we just appreciate the design, craftsmanship, and creativeness of Jerry, the WTF is not a practical knife for everyday use, hiking etc, It is however an imaginative work of beautiful Infi steel which is to be admired and praised-I am in for 2 of these beauties, Yes it will be Heavy, and yes fatigue will probably set in after prolonged use, and on cold winter nights i will fonder her and say What a beautiful piece of INFI this is. Good luck to all who receive them, and to all who have no interest-CHEERS!!

+1 OP and thank you Jerry! Boss, no matter what you release it is always a pleasure to view your work and creativity. I love all things sharp and you have made my normally stressfull humpdays exciting and fun. It feels like a little mini Christmas every week, and even though I can't afford to get every single release it's still fun to some times window shop.

Wisest post here not generated by Jerry.

HUGO says buy War Train Fusion before they're gone-Great Picture and congrats on your BGAD

So we got a weigh in on opinions, thanks Jerry and thank you for continuing to bring out new exciting designs, is there any chance we can get a weigh in on the blades themselves?

Maybe I am alone here in this opinion, but the approximate weight spec really helps a customer to have a positive experience by being fully informed on the decision to make a purchase they are on the fence about. I really like the design and think it is extremely unique, especially having a cutting edge well below the handle which may be way more useful than one would think, but I have to calculate whether I can justify one over the other and the weight could very well be the determining factor of which and/or how many to buy.

If there was an INFI BIG/CG version in the middle there would be absolutely no problem choosing, but there is quite a gap between the two offerings that makes it a lot more difficult.

Agree 100%!

I think the WTF is bad to the bone! Bossman and crew have been freaking KILLING IT here lately! Releasing badass blades one after the other.

Haters gonna hate. I, however, congratulate. Jerry, you da man! Keep doing whatcha do Bossman.

I may be a bit slow at times but to be clear: Did Jerry/you just ask us to follow a " If you can't say something nice, don't say it in the release thread, open a new one." rule? Or, on re-reading that post, is he/ are you actually telling us not to post any criticism or less than positive opinion on this forum at all? Seems very much like the latter. I do hope that I am misinterpreting your message, Jerry. If someone really really believes something but cannot defend their position from any argument or criticism then it is not a rationally reasoned position but a belief that has no apparent real world support and enters the realm of religion. The word infidel no longer refers to those of us who have grown to appreciate Jerry's/your unique alloy and its seemingly infinite applications to various edged tools but rather reverts to its (8th century?) meaning defining anyone that does not (at least appear to) unquestioningly believe wholeheartedly and is a blasphemer (non-believer) to be shunned, if not outright banished or killed, for their (lack of "correct") belief. If I am not misinterpreting you, no real problem. Just need to remember not to disagree with the fanboys in their club house. Step outside to disagree. (BTW, what is an acceptable waiting periond for less than enthusiastic positive feedback? A day? A week? Never?) I will have to say "Thank you but no." I really like you knives but I will not support this. I certainly agree that there is no call for foul language or personal attacks. You, however, appear to go beyond those reasonable restrictions on free speech. Again, I will not support this.
Pete

You apparently missed something and definitely misinterpreted what was said. No one ever said no negative feedback or expressing of honest opinions. Simply that they not be included in the announcement thread forum. This seems logical to me because how can anyone fairly criticize a knife that absolutely no one other then the maker has had a chance to handle anyway. Put your reviews and criticisms in a different post and keep it clean. Seems simple enough to me.

Pmsayre...blah blah blah something about a high horse blah blah blah...

Samarix, that is totally unnecessary, borders on insulting another member...
Please read Jerry's post here again.

I learned long ago I business that you can't control what people say about your company...and the more you try, the worse it goes.

People will share their opinions. Nothing wrong with it. Try to limit it and you'd be better off trying to herd cats.

Thank you for that, I really mean it Thank you.
I have thought about posting "if you do not have something nice to say" but it effects my business.

Thank you again George.

As a thank you for you doing good and being positive
I want to give you a free sheath :)

Send me a list of what you need and I will pick one that is made ready to ship and it is yours

Damn nice of you David.

George. You are one of the good ones on here. You're absolutely correct. I hope the Bossman NEVER looses that fire..... I agree that not everything is for everyone, but, you've got to give it to Jerry that his genius is able to come up with different models that will reach all types of tastes and needs (phew...what a run on sentence:D).

Kudos Jerry, I think that you can look at what you've build and be very proud indeed....

P.s. I consider the likes of David and Dwayne, pretty much in the same club (many more that I have'nt dealt with on here, so far. I'm sure). This is one fun place to be. It's great having access to these people and products.
