Big ass knives...bowie, survival, combat, bushcraft...just big ass knives!

CM--awesome setup! I've admired that hollow grind since you first posted it. I like how unsheathing and the first cut can be one fluid motion with the way you got that arranged.

Aias--that Lon Humphrey is impressive to say the least!

How about a big PILE of knives.

Note the Kershaw Camp 18, a decidedly BAK in and of itself. It is also a very handy knife/machete.

Ended up selling the TGLB. This is my EDC.

I have a buck 119 and KA-BAR 1219 but those are nothing compared the bad boys in this thread. I rarely use large blades but here is my most recent acquisition. Fresh from splitting some wood for a random Sunday afternoon fire.

This is my Brand New Handmade Rambo style knife that is on its way to me. A collaborated style design between myself and the knifemaker and good friend that I have started doing business with.

This knife took about 2 12 months to make. It has No Tang Connection! The blade, guard, and handle is All One Piece Of D2 Steel. No CNC Machines Used. Totally hand grinded and handmade.

It is also hollow handle and comes with 2 different hardened D2 Steel endcaps. One is the Skullcrusher style endcap and the other is a plain flat top endcap. Both have holes in them for wrist strap. I also bought brand new Black Military Grade Mini Para Cord to wrap the handle with when the knife arrives.
Knife is fully Black Powder Coated, as you can see!!

On this knife are several stampings. However to me, the most important stamping on this knife is by the ricasso that reads, "IN HONOR OF US MILITARY POWs AND MIAs IN VIETNAM!"

I have been wanting to get a knife made and how or those brave fallen heroes that were forgotten about and left over there in Nam, to be degraded, tortured, and killed...by a crooked, vile, and greedy Government...our US Government! I have been wanting to honor them for a very long time and God finally Blessed me with an awesome knifemaker to do it!

My Dad served countless tours in both Korea and Vietnam. He lost so many great friends over there, many were on the POW/ MIA registry.

This knife is truly Dedicated to those guys and everytime I show this knife, carry this knife, use this knife, post pics or videos of it, and show it to others...They will Always be reminded of our Fallen US Military Heroic Warriors in Vietnam!

This knife also has "THE MISSION" stamped on it. I had this done for several reasons but the Main Reason is to honor the late Great Knifemaker who's original design and idea of these knives changed the knife world Forever...And actually improved the popularity of Survival knives. This great guy, as everyone knows, was the late Great Arkansas Knife smith, Mr. Jimmy Lile...May This Awesome Man REST IN PEACE!! This knife also honors him.

Anyway, here is one of 14 pics of this knife. I will be posting more pics of it and of the stampings on it in the near future. It also has its own stamped.Serial Number.

CM, your posts consistently make me want to spit on my own knife collection and go sob quietly in the corner. What is this beautiful knife?

I've been really enjoying this 11" blade of A2 I recently traded into. Dervish Knives Wendingo TAD edition by John Gonzalez:

Here are two knives made with CPM M4 steel. The large one is a competition race knife I made for a Bladesports event I'm hosting in 2017 at my shop.
