J85909266, what is the knife in your photo that is farthest to the right? It looks like a Spyderco, but what model is it? Looks awesome...

The one farthest to the right is a Spyderco Chinook II. It's an incredible knife. Fits large to medium hands like a dream and has an MBC rated lock capable of over 1000 pounds of pressure on the blade before failing. G-10 scales, S30V blade, the works, awesome knife, for sure.

Airkat Tripwire super modified by Dwaine Carrillo.

The lock on that Airkat is interesting... The blade tang appears to have a ridge that prevents the lock from sliding all the way over. With a frame lock, this shouldn't be much of an issue, but it would be nice to see this feature added to some of the liner locks out there.

Peace.

After a while the lock lines up perfect. It is made of titanium (soft compared to steel) and the tight fit is intended.
Go to the Airkat site for more info from Dwaine Carrillo.

Cheers,

André

That has to be the biggest pocket clip I've ever seen. Heh.

I noticed there's no thumb stud. Just a torx(?) screw that appears to fit flush with blade. It also doesn't appear be an auto. Or is it?

Anyway, it's one Bad Ass looking Airkat. I like the camo stripes and the carbonfiber handle slab. Nice!

This is due to the Danish knife law that does nor permit one hand operational pocket knives. Dwaine made ine with a torx. I have the thumb stud if I go to a country where this is legal.

You can just open it by flicking the wrist:thumbup: easy.

J85909266! What knife is that, 3rd from the right? It also looks like a spyderco but I don't see it anywhere on their site.. is it still available? Looks great..

Thank you.

And thanks for the link. Great read. I was not surprised, though. The Manix is a great cutter and I wouldn't doubt it beating the SMF and even the Sebenza in a cutting contest.

The Military is on my short list (which is pretty long, but shorter than my long list.

My big-folder short list is (in no order):

Rick Hinderer Firetac
Strider SMF
Benchmade 610 Rukus
Spyderco Military (Black, Combo Edge)
Kershaw Blue Bump
Emerson Commander
Lone Wolf Harsey Tactical
Benchmade 710HS

Add some smaller knives like the Buck Mayo TNT, Queen Stag D2 Toothpick, CRK Mnandi, and William Henry Titan, and you pretty much have my next 6 months of purchases.
