Awesome!

Thanks for the info & pics. Really loving the looks off that folder. But it handles even better.

Just got my Rukus in today and Damn it's big! Almost makes my Atropos feel small. Almost. :D

Rukus w/ XD Sub-Compact.

Hi Boys
i think a "big" folder has to have over 100mm Blade.
So here are mine:

Bigbore - Nice "folding sword" collection. Loving that Rob Davidson Scimitar! It looks like a Greg Lightfoot style pocket clip on it? Got any stats on scimitar; steel, length, etc.?

Thanks for adding to the 'Big' collection.

Nice knives guys.

So I got my Military, Rukus, and Queen yesterday. They are great. Very happy with all three of them. The Military is perfect, and the Rukus and Queen only have some minor issues that I can either fix (and did fix), or ignore as they don't matter.

I'll take some pics of them. The Queen looks impressive next to the Rukus. It is my first big slipjoint, so I was really surprised by how big it really is.

What's the point of the pocket clip on that thing? I knew that was a huge knife, but that's the first time I'd seen an in hand picture  Shore is purdy though. How quick is the action, out of curiosity?

Sorry for the delayed response, I was on vacation.

Pocket clip is needed to keep it in the right position for the draw from the pocket. ;)

Action is almost instantaneous- Waves open when you pull it out of the pocket (I had it modified for tip-up carry) Faster than whipping out an auto, since there is no button to push:thumbup:

I was told by another knifemaker the clip is from a MT knife,
......
and yes, i can see a shark on it ;)

I *REALLY* like Trisak's knives. I think they are some of the coolest looking knives. Period.

I want to make some more additions to my collection of production knives before I really venture into customs, but I plan on getting into customs around July, and when I do, his are VERY high on my list. Second only to a Hinderer Firetac (which I am going to get late June).

Crikey!! I looove big stockman knives (been EDCing a Schrade 858OT); who makes that monster?

The monster Stockman, or 'Premium Stock Knife' as it has stamped on the main blade - is made by CK

This company was started in 1904 in Germany by Carl Kammerling (CK)
and has been making tools and knives ever since.

A lot of its knives have been made in Solingen on contract or in Maniago in Italy, also on contract; the one shown here I think was made in Germany about 1970s or thereabouts. CK seemed to go through a patch of making stockmen with polished cow horn scales in the 1970s (there is one on ebay at the moment, 4" closed).

In 1954, CK moved to the UK and have their head office in Wales. They still have manufacturing in Germany and Italy, both their own and contract arrangements.

CK now specialise in making tools and knives for electricians - but they still sell a range of pocket knives and work knives. I have a couple of their plastic handled sodbusters and they are nice - plain black plastic scales, big brass pins and nice Swedish carbon steel blades.

CK pride themselves on using Swedish steel for most of their knives and tools.

I'll play, a recent acquisition which should be here next week would qualify as a big knife: a ray rogers "Chupacabra." Makes an SMF look like a toy. 4" cutting edge (5.6" from pivot to tip?), and a 6.25" handle made of 3/16" Ti. I'm personally excited. I'll try to insert a pic, but don't know if it'll work...

You can use Image Shack and then link to your pic. I'd really like to see the Chupacabra.

I still can't see it :(

I did order an Emerson CQC7B-BT earlier in the week, though :)

It's not a big knife like the super version, but I think it is among friends with my larger expensive moden tactical knives.
