Big Saturday sale at Poorfish store

It's damn underhanded and if I did the same here, (said look everything I've got listed will be 25% off for a day!) Then raised my prices and took some things out, just how would that go over?

Has anybody asked them why they do this? I sent an email so I will await their response. They have good prices so why not called it a 5 percent off sale instead of 20 percent off and then raising the prices at least 15 percent? I looked around, and it is not just knives, everything went up in price today.

I've always hesitated doing business with this particular dealer. Always seemed too good to be true and now I see why. Just be up front and it would be less of an issue jeeeez....

I just saw this thread, and Jill is on the money about their sale practices. I did buy four knives on their Saturday sale back in early December. They all arrived quickly and were great knives, however everyone one went up in price late Friday night before the sale. With these four they still had the best price around, but I did feel that was a bad business practice on their part, and I will not buy from them again.....

Bottom line is they shouldn't do it. It has nothing to do with whether they still have the best prices. It's rather insulting to me, to get an email from them, then check out their prices and plan what I want. Only to magically watch the big change at 12 midnight!

I myself just decided not to buy from them again, because of that and the way they ship helped the decision too. I would rather pay a bit more and get my NIB knives shipped in a hard box. Instead of a first class envelope.

( BTW, I've bought probably 2000 dollars worth of Spyderco knives from them in the past)
