BK-2 Pancake Sheath - Winner announced, Thank god

Convex stitching to make it easier to sheathe blind, while maintaining retention? Also looks to have a similar effect for the firesteel.

You still awake Skystorm, haha? I'm sure the answer is so easy, and we're all making it harder than what it is. ;)

It's stitched that way, simply because you thought it looked better, haha. Well, if nothing else, I've enjoyed posting my photos. ;)

Does it have to do with the ease of stitching around curves? Finishing/trimming the edges? Dammit man...you're killing me!

So because the bk2's handle is so much taller it sticks out a lot more. So it would be more prone to get caught on stuff. So the tip of the blade would have room to move without the tip piercing through the stitching if it got really torqued.

Think ergonomics,

This is the worst easy contest ever. I'm gonna stick to just building stuff next time.:D

It allows the knife to sit at more of an angle so it doesn't poke you in the side or so you can draw it easier instead of being straight up and down.

concave stitching.
So when you draw the knife you can pull it on an upward arc w/o binding.

The convex curved stitch gives the knife some wiggle room so the handle doesn't poke/jab you in the stomach when you bend over or sit down?

Damn BK11 is at home hanging... Is the welt v gouged to better contain the blade and keep it off the stitching?

is it run that way to reinforce the belt loop ear? that would be a wide stretch of leather to bend/flop if the stitches followed the blade curve.

WINNER!!

PM me your shipping details.

People never pull the knife straight out it always comes at a continuing angle.

Sorry guys I seriously thought someone would pick this right off. Hence the 'quick' part of the contest.
