"Black Box" Winchesters

More penance. The weight of guilt from my previous visual representation of this big fella has become more than I am able to shoulder. This seems to lighten the load a bit.

This stream of atonement is quite gratifying, Greg!!:) Please keep it up!!:D

No other series of knives gives me so much excitement when I open the box  It's like a kid with a pocket-knife at Christmas...don't we all get that adrenaline rush ? ;) This Stockman when I first got it a few years ago, it's been used a lot since and is a real favourite.

Yes, I agree with you. I have heard that blade called a Turkish Clip (not even close) and other names too. If there is a correct term for it, I don't know for sure what it is.
I did some poking around a few years ago and found it being called a Dutch Clip. I'm not sure if that is correct or not. Whatever it happens to be, it's enables access to the pull on the saber ground blade.

That knife is an excellent example of a SowbellyStockman!!
Another instance of the Underated (-well made!!) BB Winchesters!!

I agree with you whole heartedly. Here's a very pocket friendly piece with a lot of cuttin' power. Looks cool too.
Greg

Gonna have to change lenses on my camera. I'm having to downsize the images way to much. I could just post them way oversized, but that's a little rude.
And lazy.
