I just got my first black box this year too, mine's from '87. It's the same "Vintage" as me, which is pretty cool.

You can see the sunlight really brings out some nice brown tones. The lighting makes all the difference looking at these. Inside lighting they almost appear black.

Thank you. I've seen your YT videos. I remember you have the same one in bone and you said it was one of your faves. I actually made the guy an offer of $100, but he declined the offer. Instead of increasing my offer, I just decided to bid and I ended up winning it for $84!!

Yes sir it was!! I'm super thankful. I'd be happy to show the blades after while. I was just in a bit of a hurry cause I'm taking my dad to his Dr appt. & I didn't want to be late.

Well, that was the very same knife I was looking at. You did definitely get a great deal, I think I paid about $100 for both the ones I have. Glad it was a forum member and someone who will enjoy it who won. Afterall I already have a spare yellow smooth bone to replace my jigged brown bone one should anything happen.
