Blade forums Buck Knife announed! Almost...

I prefer the big'un, for what it's worth. I like a big carry knife and I like to use 'em in the field. Big bass and small whitetail, mostly. I vote for the 500. Bring it on!

Fudo,
The word i got was that the prototype was sent last week for approval from Blade forums.
Now we wait some more.

Hmmmm... does the current Camillus EDC 154CM frenzy indicate that the Bladeforums Buck Knife might not be approved? The reason I ask is, I'd really like to see this knife happen, even if it wasn't a Bladeforums Buck. Heck, the last "Bladeforums" knife I bought didn't even have anything on it to indicate it was anything special. Sooooo..... just wondering.

Rocksyder,
I hope you are wrong! I would really like to see the Bladeforums Buck approved.

I would like to see it approved, too. But, my primary concern is, I just want the KNIFE!

Could you let me know how much we are talking? And when they will be ready.

Well,
I have not heard of any thing new since when we sent the prototype off to bladeforums. I asked for another update.
It feels like this is taking a long time, is it just me or this taking a long time?

Yeah, it is taking waaayyyy tooooo long for this knife to become a reality. Maybe someone needs to light a fire under Mike/Spark.

BTTT

Mike? Spark? Joe? Anyone?

Really looking forward to one (or two) of these, but beginning to wonder if it's ever going to come to fruition.

Hmmm, I never saw this knife. Dunno what ever was the status with it.

It seemed to have been a stillborn knife Spark. It unfortunately never got off of the ground.

hi joe; i'm in for the 501. i think the 500 is just a tad too big for a pocket knife, plus the 501 is one of my favorites. my vote is for the 501

Maybe someone should contact Joe and see what the "official" status of these knives are! - IF anyone is still counting votes, I say we go with one of each. One can NEVER have too many knives....
