Blade forums Buck Knife announed! Almost...

Maybe I'm wrong, but if you haven't seen a Blade Forums Buck Knife (500 or 501) in over 2 years, maybe it's gone the way of the Dodo?
 
I would wager that the materials that Joe had set aside are already gone.
 
I saw the title to this thread and almost spilled my coffee! :eek:
This project was dead and buried, it dead from neglect as far as I can tell. :(
 
Joe - any chance of resurrecting it, maybe using one of the Alpha Models, or whatever knife the group is interested in??? I think since the Thread came back to life, there may also be a desire to bring the "knives" back to life as well. I know "I" would be interested in a BF-Buck !!
 
I like the idea. I would also like to see a El Cajon/San Diego county memorial knife to say thanks to the community, because we supported you even though the government did't. Thanks
 
I still like the idea but rather than the 501, I would like to see a red, white, and blue micarta handled 503's with BG-42 blades
