I was lazy in my reply in quoting the original comment I think the original BF knife looks best as it is was my main point, but dont condemn you making what you want.Lovely Tritons, the Revival is on my bucket list! I’m a vintage car guy (own original Shelby for over 40 years) and appreciate stock vehicles but I also like modified vehicles. Some modified cars are hideous but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would never call somebody a fool (you didn’t) because they modified or bought a modified knife. I passed on the earlier BF 86 because it was ebony, I’m just not into wood traditionals. I did admire that blade, however, and when mixed with the sawcut bone (all my GECs save one are bone) and the Barlow bolster I think a lovely knife emerged.
I see so many bodged bikes,hacked up old Beemers with brown fashion/hipsters seats ruined for all time.
