Can confirm, this was the exact same email I got. Order went though but do not have shipping confirmation yet.
 
You guys are unbelievable. Gary is correct in that there were a number of members that didn't get the original notice and that were on a list to buy, they alone got the code. $299 was the price to prevent others from buying the knife; I lost too much money refunding the PP fees at the $999 price that some still bought. PP does not refund the fees.

I'm not the BF police and I can't do everything you people ask so give me a break. If you paid for a knife you will get a knife. If you want a refund do it now before I ship the rest of the order next week. I would have shipped earlier but I'm sure you didn't want an empty package and I just received the rest of the order tonight. C'mon you guys. 😕

I'm not a smoke worshiper, but HOLY SMOKE !!! ... someone(s) actually tried to purchase for $999 ?!?!?! Woah
And yeah, PP fees on $999 are gonna be like three times as much as on $299 if monies refunded. D'OH
... so if you had to refund because someone didn't use the new code, wouldn't be as much of a loss. Makes sense to me.

I can believe people would buy it for 300$. I can’t believe anyone would for 1000!

I was on that second chance list. And appreciate that considering hurricane had me out of touch for nearly 3 weeks, with occasional access to internet.

Good to hear that second shipment came in. Now, I’ll start getting anxious knowing I could get a tracking number any day now.

With all the continuing hassles with Bladeforum Knives, I am surprised yet again the same people were involved in helping out Traditional members get a Forum Knife for the year.

To all involved in the lead up to the making of - yet again- a fantastic Knife , and a massive thank you.
Can so ask that you all step aside now as everyone has worked extremely hard on this project - now all here who have complained and whined please step in and do better next year seriously…, step up to the Plate.
 
Read the OP's first post, please discuss the KNIVES not the PROCESS.

If you have issues or grievances- which should only arise when all the knives have been delivered- then start a thread accordingly. Is finger-pointing, posting surveillance, aspertion, raging at 'unfairness', character assassination part of the famed and often self-congratulatory 'Porch' ethic? Sounds more like the lynch-mob frankly.

I know that I was disappointed at not buying one but someone tried to buy one at $999? They want a forum knife a heck of a lot more than I ever did! :oops:
