Blade Forums Spring Street Barlow (BF Knife 2021)

I've lost interest in collecting GECs.
You aren't the Lone Ranger.
The whole "GEC Thing" has left me very cold to the brand. I only buy a select few offered to me at a good cost from forum members.
But I have switched my attitude... I no longer believe it's the Flippers fault, rather it is the fault of the people willing to spend such ridiculous sums of money for a < $100 pocket knife. It's the buyers that are driving the market, not the sellers.

Thanks, I don't do FB, though. Horrible company. I live right by them. Very evil company. If that's the only place then I'll have to pass.
I don’t either, but do think all the ones that were for sale have been sold so I think the only way to get one would be on the secondary market.

Yup. An object is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

I don't know how the hell someone get's their hands on that many BF knives without breaking some rules. Definitely, grounds for being banned.
To be faaaair, I think only six of those tubes contain BF 2021 knives.

Same person, or some other flipper?

Agreed, and there is always another group. I remember some of the original slipjoint facebook groups I was in booted out the "flippers" so the flipper just started their own knife group and just invited the same people. Rinse and repeat. Every time someone got accused of flipping, or "waffling" as the word raffle was suspect on Facebook and sets off sensors, theyd start a new group. Some of the members are here, snatching up knives for these "raffles". The funniest one was a guy who claimed he was "new" to the slipjoint game but had a whole bunch of knives that would be almost impossible to get unless you have been around for some time or have deep pockets. Another funny one is some one here who got the 21 barlow and then went to the wtb looking for the sheepsfoot 2019 asking for a fair price not ebay price, but had no issues flipping the 2ab in bone for $250 in the f/s. People keep tabs of these things.

I have joined the group in questing and it does not appear that person is a member here. I will not post his name in the clear here and dox him but I will pass details onto staff for further comment.

i was waiting for this. but indeed he is. i was warned before when I let something go on the bladeforums f/s section. some one who also watches for flippers alerted me. And sure enough, as soon as he received it, was being flipped somewhere else. it is likely that he stays off the radar by not submitting feedback, and hence doesnt receive much in return.
