You don't need to go witch hunting on FaceBook groups...
There's enough over-charging for GEC knives right here on our exchange, even by very well-respected members.
Some are even here in this thread pointing fingers at the 'horrible" flippers and hoarders. It's a disease and most don't even realize they have it.

Folks before everyone grabs for their torches and pitchforks I can tell you that this person almost certainly did not acquire these six 2021 forum knives through dishonest means. I'm in several of those facebook groups and I know who this person is, he is a HUGE trader of knives. He buys and sells and trades hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth in knives every single day. I'm certain he did not cheat the system by creating six different bladeforums accounts and ordering multiples at $100. There have been quite a number of the forum knives that have gone up on eBay and in other areas. I'd guess that he spent $500+ on each of those (and/or made significant trades for them). Is this sane? I don't think so, but if he wants to and is able to invest this kind of money into knives that's his business (and quite literally it's his business). He is one of those eBay sellers that regularly lists GECs for $500-1000+. It's crazy and he is definitely guilty of flipping and profiteering, but he does all that openly. Please don't jump to conclusions and think there is no way he could come by that many forum knives except by lying and cheating. You can have six forum knives too if you're willing to spend several thousand dollars for them.

No this is not the same person. That seller "dh1984" is in Texas. The person with all the tubes in the pic that is blowing everyone's mind lives in another state. But I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he was the buyer on some of those sales in the pic here, he throws that kind of cash around daily. And, apparently, makes even more on resales since he appears to not be losing cash in this game.

If I remember rightly...there was a 2 knife covenant and only porch regulars were in the running...I like to think that I am a porch regular of good standing AND a holder of The Porchenberg Citation of Honour for Conspicuous Nonsense...
At one point I was dreading the thought of missing out...so how did this guy manage to slip past the guards, fly under the radar and hit the jackpot???
 
Well, again, I don't think the person whose photo we are discussing "slipped past" any guards. The unfortunate reality is forum members have been selling and/or trading their forum knives. So you can acquire them on the open market, for a price. There's one on eBay right now. Any member here who would like to own another forum knife can do so right now.... for $999 plus shipping 🙄

Strictly one knife per person.

(except for a couple exceptions, it seems)
 
Exponential....:cool: My first Forum Knife was an 08 Small Stockman from Northwoods and I think there were about 120 odd? Like to see a list of all the yearly figures, anyone? They've ALL been very worthy knives, something different and distinct, but my own favourite carries/users are 2014, 2018 and 2020.

the number of knife modders have grown dramatically tho. in fact i think back in the day it was only a handful of folks and the wait was much longer due to back log. now there are options on speed dial.
