Thanks Charlie, I'm happy to see you take it in the spirit it was meant These have been such great canvases, I have a buddy ( Murphjd25 ) sending me one soon for a variation on a brand that his grandfather used!

I was harsh perhaps, but I can’t really apologize because what I said is what I feel about the whole forum knife thing.
I am not a big deal here but I have been a member of this forum for a long time and on-off member of the porch.
I took part in the voting and the discussion of the forum knife. I posted to the thread where interest in knife was asked about.
I was ready to commit on buying the knife.
I haven’t been that interested in the GEC for years because of the status symbol it has become for the Everyday Carry Manchild scene.
This time I thought I’d make a change and try out since it would be more about the forum than about GEC.
When the time came to get the knife, they were thrown out to the wolves where lot of the members were left behind who don’t have the time to commit to internet forum. Little bit of Canadian members were given change, but to my knowledge none of the Europeans. Fellow Finnish one had one thanks to his connections and I actually asked him first but withdrew it because I lost my apetite about it.
So yes - in my opinion - it was a failure to deliver.
I don’t want to offend anyone. I might be offensive, but this is how I felt about it.
I don’t want beef with no one.

I got told off (I am always getting told off) by the manageress of a small boutique ( what ever that means) coffee shop in France.

It was on one of my motorbike road trips, I asked for brown sugar and milk for my coffee,she looked indignant and said I should taste the coffee

I like Spanish Coffee and I like Italian coffee (the milky types of course).

In France I found the only coffee I liked was from cheap vending machines,I didn't dare tell anyone in France that.
