BLADE SHOW ’09 – Show us what you got; Please!

That tortoise shell folder is sweet, Cliff! And, really like your fighter, Shawn! Great blade profile and handle design. Looks like super ironwood.

Yes, I agree Jim. A fine one in deed.
I like the guard, a little different for this style Bowie.

Steve,
A wonderful version of a classic. I'll add my complements on the guard to Kevin's.

Thanks to all of you for the compliments.

This was my first Dog Bone handle. I learned a lot from it and had fun making it. I will definitely make more of them. I’m glad that many of you like the guard. I’m interested in adding more sculptured work to my knives, so I’m glad that it was well received.

Brian, I didn’t make this a take-down. It easily could have been, and I seriously thought about making it so. But, I’ve had some take-downs that I have built come back to my shop damaged because people put them back together incorrectly and/or scratched them up messing with them. I didn’t want this knife uglied up, or coming back to my shop to have the take-down bolt threads repaired. So, I stuck it together with a little epoxy.

Thanks Again!!!
