BLADE SHOW ’10 – Show us what you got; Please!

I won't be attending this year, but I still have that "HOLY CRAP.....Blade show is almost here!!" feeling. I've been every year since '97, so I guess my internal calendar is set.

Y'all have a good time and hope sales are robust.

Bummer!!! No amazing Bradshaw project to drool over this year.

Holy Crap ! ALL of the knives posted so far have been outstanding !!

The Bose folders. Pure beauty.

Jerry describes this beauty:
"This is an approx 8 inch Damascus blade that has an old "Tears of the Wounded" pattern set into a "W" pattern.

what an amazing pattern Mr Fisk has created.
i swear its hypnotic if you stare at it for long.
:)
someone should start a thread which explains different damascus patterns.
that would be educational.
the only pattern i can think of is Mr Bruce Bumps feather pattern.
sweeeeeet.

Gday all,
Here is another 4 for Blade Show with native Aussie timbers.
1. Mike Norris "Raindrop" carbon damascus with Devin Thomas "Raindrop" tri colour mokume gaurd and Red Morrel.
2. Devin Thomas "Sharkstooth" carbon damascus with Silicon Bronze gaurd and some curly new growth Jarrah.
3. I forged this camp knife out of some of Don Hansons W2, added a 416 gaurd with copper spacer and finished with a piece of curly Karri.
4. This one is D2 with full tapered tang, nickel silver gaurd and pins with Rib Fruited Mallee scales.
Cheers Bruce

Here's the latest one I finished for the show... I'm calling it the "New Archangel" Bowie.
W2 steel, African Blackwood, ss guard.
Blade is 10-3/8" x 2-3/8" x 5/16
This is a real bowie, fast and sharp.
Adam.

You're sick Brother.... Gimmy yo disease!

You may need to move to a warmer climate for that disease to properly incubate, although it is clearly not hot and humid enough here in Central Florida if that is the case :D

Here are a few for Blade that John Horrigan MS asked me to post up. All sole authorship including the sheaths.

Ivory hunter w/pre ban Elephant, forged 1095 with 416 guard with 303 sex bolts.

Really nice work, there will be a great selection at the show. Mine are coming. Rodrigo and Ricardo, I think I am going to hide mine as your table is right next to ours, looking forward to it my friends. A great weekend.

Here's one of the knives in my previous post. It's a bit different for me, but one that I've wanted to make for a while. 1095, about 14" overall, rayskin/leather.

turned out great, Tad:thumbup:
It's this outside the box thinking that makes your work unique, but it's still recognizable enough to appeal to conservative buyers as well.
