Just finished this one for blade. Have not made a lockback in a while so I built one just to keep the skills sharp. 3-1/2 in blade made of Doug Ponzio Turkish Twist damascus and CF scales. Based on a Tim Wright design.

The first one "Splice" - is natural Box Elder Burl. The second one - is Gold & Black Dyed Box Elder Burl. Both are stabilized.

Here's one I just finished for blade.
Persian Bowie
7-1/2" quilted feathers mosaic Damascus. Can't see it in my quick pic,
but it has great chatoyance.
Carved ironwood handle and sheath.
Twist Damascus and stainless fittings.

I'm having to head out early this year for Blade. Have to make a detour for family issues. Not as many knives for the show as planned, but should finish a second stag/W2 slipjoint today. Neither photographed.

I'm sharing a table with Cliff Parker this year, #10-A Right next to one of the fossil ivory dealers.
