It s very nice Tad , congrats.Looking forward to see others ..

I opted not to get a table this year. I want to move around and actually SEE the show for more than 15mins at a time. It'll be more of a vacation for me this round. Here are a couple show-n-tell pieces I'm bringing for pictures and passing around in the PIT.

Hate miss you Richard, had a roll going the last boulle if years! ;)

Love that Bowie....

Great job Tad and Bing....both are right up my alley.

Here's another flipper...one of my large Gen2 models. I just managed to get some decent pictures today. This just goes to show that when you can't get the exact color you want when anodizing.....you just use them all! :) Blade is San-Mai, 1084/15N20 "W" pattern core, and exterior is 1084/Pure Nickel "W" pattern.

Ben, that's pretty special, I'd say.

You're right, there's about 500 ways to mess one up. They don't get to lookin that pretty by accident do they?

Ben, you've got quite the project in progress there. My bet's that it's going to be a very special Bowie.

Yep. The idea is to have corresponding carving in the guard and ricasso area. Part of me hates to start carving the blade after I'm so happy with it but nothing ventured nothing gained, right?:o

Finishing up a half dozen of these integral hunters this week.
Still have to finish/etch these three. W2.

Isn't the Blade Show coming up sometime soon? Better get a move on! (These are not all I have, there's a decent showing squirrelled away ready to pack and take.)

Some forged 80CrV2 blades ready for their handles to be impregnated with marine epoxy.

Mid-tech knives in 3/16" 80CrV2 ready to heat treat.

And hardened, about to close the kiln and start their first tempering cycle.

There will be representatives of 6 of the 9 mid-tech designs I'm working on. Wish I could have them all, but it just doesn't work out logistically.

Oh the joys of carving steel:o...starting to take shape anyway.
