I want to make knives. Cool give away.

But I already have 5160 from JT on here. I made my first knife out of it, finished it before Christmas.
 
Tell you what. If the person that gets the steel from Garrett and finishes a knife I will make them a leather sheath.

Hope I'm not horning in Garrett but I hope this will motivate them to finish their knife. :)
 
I wanna make knives.. I have tools already, and have been contemplating moving on up to making them from scratch...

Thank you for this chance, I have just started on this adventure a couple of weeks ago. I'm hooked for life. So far I've made a coal forge from an ambulane rotor(works really well) and have made a couple of blanks from 3/4 inch cable. thats about as far as I have gotten. Thanks to everyone who post information on this site.

Since Will is gonna throw in a sheath. If you will let me know who you draw I will send them a block of handle material. Anice piece of Stabilized bocote.That way a good knife coming together.
