Since you cannot "high polish" the canvas micarta, we are most likely looking at a brushed finish. Seems like the right look I think!

For what it's worth, I totally agree. A micarta scale needs a satin finish.View media item 98

Just some food for thought. I heard The GEC #25s Mike at Collector knives had for early reserve sold out in a couple of hours. The reason I mention it is he had the same amount of knives as is planed for the BF knife 500. I do realize these two knives are world's apart. However like I said it is something to keep in mind IMHO

Good point - it's likely most of the 500 25's went to 250 people or less as many probably ordered 2 or more. Hopefully they limit the forum knife to 1 per address.

Its up to those that put the money out, but this is good idea for this run. Charlie, your TC's command high dollars on the secondary market. I foresee some buying 5 or so for flipping. Perhaps 1 per address for a few weeks. That would allow people to get a paycheck and then buy one. After that maybe open up the remainder-no limit... But hey, I'm just along for the ride, the few that are doing the work, do what you want. I just appreciate the fact that you are putting forth all the effort. Thank you!

When we finally do set up the ordering thread, we will have to limit the order to two knives maximum, because a) there is huge interest, and b) we want as many people as possible to get one. That will be in the future, as soon as we get notice of production.
