Yesterday’s 6 mile hike on the AT. Forgot how rocky it is. Had a real nice hike and the wife thinks we only did 5 miles!! 😂
Heading out to Gettysburg Battle Field this morning and some covered bridges pm.
Going to do another hike tomorrow on the AT. 😁

awesome pics John. love fall color stuff...we get none down here. just green and instantly brown.

when l was boy my momma used to drive us to civil war battle sites and museums and such in the summer. was all over Gettysburgs and mostly in the devils den part. climbed all through those rocks. almost got stuck and lost a couple times. was a good day.....haven't been back since....

we got no rocks here.....that 2nd pic looks like an ankle breaker trying to cross it. where's that at? is that a normal deal in mountian areas...

more details if ya dont mind sharing? thanks and great pics.....
It's at Hawk Mountain PA. That is the river of rocks trail. The trail actually doesn't go through the rocks but I just had to climb on em. That pic was from the middle of one of several boulder fields. here's the other side of that one. 20231028_150953.jpg
