Makes me wonder how people who think up these signs can climb the stairs out of their parent's basement

I’ve only bumped into the county “Park Ranger” once …in beginning of COVID early 2020. They closed the parks (stupidity) and tried to enforce it, I told him I’m walking anyways, He didn’t issue a citation!

I definitely laughed when I saw it ..looks like it’s been there awhile too. Guess I was an offender for going bush off trail!

If I was thinking straight should’ve stuck knife into post and snapped a pic.

Got up to the mid 30s today, with just a light breeze and bright sun. Was fortunately able to get out and enjoy it with a 6.2 mile hike on my usual trails.

Spyderco Para 3 with CPM 15V blade steel was along for the ride.

So we FINALLY got out today!! Ended with about 4miles. 4-6in of snow on the ground is like walking on jello!!
It’s a work out compared to hard ground!!
25deg to start 35deg finish!!
Was a Beautiful day!!

We had snow pretty much all weekend

After healing up from recent Derm surgery was able to put in 7 miles! More potential rain is incoming this week so it was nice and cool (58F) for the hike.

Edit: added pack of coyote pics..forgot I took them.

Always time on a hike to stop for tea...got to get that water boiling!

We got another ~4" of white stuff yesterday, then we got about 1-2" of freezing rain overnight, everything was just ice - luckily the pup doesn't weigh a whole lot and was able to "float" on the ice sheet

Rain finally stopped and the mini streams coming down the trails dried enough for short hike. Talked wife into coming for first mile (loop) along with older minis! Afterwards took cash to top of mountain and he ran off 2 days of stir .
