There must have been at least a million butterflies. Constant flow over the ridge. They liked the color red.

what type of lure were you using? beautiful pictures

Beautiful sunny day and the pics were nice and vibrant but Imgur absolutely wants to flatten and kill the colors. I got to move my pics somewhere else.

Anyway, SwissChamp in the backpack as I went for a short walk and made some coffee, snacks and hammocking.

Today’s Awesome 5.5 miler in the Allegheny National Forest. 🥾🥾🎒
Drove 2 1/2hrs one way from home but it was worth it as we started out at 78deg and finished at 82deg BUT low humidity!! Did a group hike with 5 others and had a Great time. It was nice to take the wife out some of the NCT that I did on my Trek.
John 😎

You keep catching them bigfeets, you should set up a trail cam.

4th pic, just left of center, trying to hide behind tree.

Blue Ridge Trail in Wrightwood CA. This area was devastated by the fires last year. Still a great day with a high of 70 degrees. Breaking in the crucarta manix 2. This was my Father’s Day gift from the wife and kids. The wife says it looks like it belongs in nature. I agree.
Used to ski mountain high in the late 80s. I had a trunk mounted ski rack for my convertible 68 mustang! Spring skiing with the top down. Beautiful up there….

High speed, low drag, 30miles, 4200ft, 2 days.

Top of the world, except I can see Mt Shasta in the distance and it’s twice as high as me.

I’m officially part of the lazy 6 miler club, not doing this again haha.
Awesome area

That’s beautiful. What’s the name of that trail?
