Photos Blades on Hikes

Strange one today, 26°F with lots of ice, but also several places where the trail was bare ground.. and we went to a more remote location, so odd to see the ground.

Just brookies up in this one, but theyre nice(ish) brookies at least. And hungry!
Brook trout are my favorite fish on earth. They are magical little jewels and a gift from God. That pretty much sums it up I think. . .Well I guess all trout are, but that goes especially for Brook Trout. 😁

It’s funny how the weather works. We’ve found patches of snow in protected shaded areas in July when I lived in Maine.

One year, we found a mound of snow under a blanket of sawdust in the summer on the property next to mine after the guy moved out and left a mess on it.
